 Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the branch, ensuring smooth banking activities, and maintaining compliance with the bank’s policies.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Manage and control all banking operations within the branch.
✔ Approve loans within the discretionary limit and recommend overdraft facilities.
✔ Handle foreign transfers and foreign exchange transactions.
✔ Implement bank policies and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
✔ Evaluate creditworthiness and approve business line of credit requests.
✔ Develop new lending opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
✔ Advise customers on financial matters and business best practices.
✔ Monitor employee performance and take disciplinary actions when necessary.

 Desired Qualifications & Experience

 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.

 Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Banking Operations.
• Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking (IFB) is advantageous.
