Position Summary:
PSI Ethiopia seeks an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to play a key role in executing the organization’s HR strategy. The HRBP will lead efforts in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR compliance, and strategic planning. The role will support organizational growth and performance by aligning HR initiatives with PSI Ethiopia’s broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment

Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.

Collaborate with hiring managers to design job descriptions aligned with organizational goals.

Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring efficient and timely hiring.

Ensure employment contracts are issued accurately and on schedule.

Champion inclusive hiring practices that promote gender equity and diversity.
Performance Management
-
Implement and manage PSI Ethiopia's performance management system.

Guide managers on recognizing high performance and addressing performance issues.

Review and enhance performance-related policies and tools.
-
Provide regular reports on performance trends and recommend improvements.
-
Develop training and development plans based on performance outcomes.
Employee Relations and Engagement
-
Serve as a strategic advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters.

Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through proactive engagement.
-
Address employee relations issues professionally and recommend resolutions.
-
Support employee well-being and motivation through structured engagement activities.
HR Strategy and Organizational Support
-
Assist in aligning HR functions with the overall goals of PSI Ethiopia.

Support implementation of new HR initiatives and policy improvements.

Maintain knowledge of labor laws and ensure compliance in all HR practices.
Networking and Employer Branding
-
Build and maintain professional networks to source candidates and gather HR best practices.
-
Enhance PSI Ethiopia’s reputation as an employer of choice both internally and externally.

Engage with potential talent through networking and relationship-building.
Reporting and Documentation
-
Prepare and submit bi-monthly and quarterly reports on HR metrics and outcomes.

Assist in preparing annual HR performance reviews and strategic documents.

Document and report outcomes of field visits or HR initiatives as required.
Other Duties
-
Support the development, revision, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Participate in special projects and provide input on cross-functional HR initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or related field with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience
OR -
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
