Position Summary
Deborah Foundation is seeking a passionate and qualified ICT Teacher and Librarian to lead technology integration in classrooms while managing the school library. This combined role promotes digital literacy and reading culture, especially tailored to support students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in teaching ICT, managing educational resources, and working with students of diverse needs. The position requires strong communication, adaptability, and a creative teaching approach.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and ICT Duties

Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons tailored to different learning styles and levels.

Develop assessments and measure student progress effectively.

Support students in acquiring basic digital skills and safe technology practices.

Maintain and troubleshoot ICT equipment including computers, software, and peripherals.

Foster a technology-rich learning environment that supports special education needs.
Library Management
-
Manage and maintain the school library ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming space.

Catalog and organize books, multimedia, periodicals, and digital resources.

Support students with book selection and research guidance.

Regularly update and maintain digital library databases and records.

Promote reading habits and information literacy among students.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in ICT, Library Science, Education, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a school librarian or ICT teacher.

Strong knowledge of digital tools, children’s and young adult literature, and information literacy.

Experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable.

Familiarity with inclusive teaching methods and adaptive technologies.
