Position Overview
Ahadu Bank is seeking a qualified and experienced Branch Manager to lead its Addis Ababa Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business development and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and manage all banking operations within the branch

Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory directives, and national laws
-
Guide and oversee the branch’s sales and customer service activities
-
Prepare and manage branch budgets, work plans, and progress reports
-
Build strong relationships with the local business community and represent the bank in community events
-
Promote the bank’s products and services to maximize growth and customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
-
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the banking sector, including at least 1 year in a Customer Services Manager or equivalent leadership role

Proven leadership and team-building abilities

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Ability to perform under pressure

Familiarity with modern management and performance tracking methods

Excellent understanding of banking laws, policies, and regulations
