About the Job

Yoholding PLC is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. If you have a passion for numbers and financial accuracy, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing Transactions: Enter financial data (invoices, receipts, and payments) into accounting software.

• Account Reconciliation: Verify financial records against bank statements.

• Ledger Maintenance: Update general and subsidiary ledgers.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track payments to suppliers and customer balances.

• Payroll Assistance: Help process employee salaries and tax deductions.

• Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records and assist in financial analysis.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting regulations.

• Reporting & Audits: Assist in month-end and year-end financial procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in accounting or a related role.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP or other accounting standards.

  • Experience with accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Xero).

  • Advanced Excel skills (including financial formulas & functions).

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

  • Organizational and time management skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication.

  • High level of ethics and integrity.
