Position Summary
Amaga PLC is seeking a Strategy and Planning Manager to drive the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business strategy, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. This role works closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize strategic objectives, and ensure their successful implementation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the formulation and execution of strategic plans aligned with the company’s goals

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to guide strategic decisions

  • Collaborate with management to define key initiatives and set measurable objectives

  • Prepare business plans, performance dashboards, and progress reports for senior leadership

  • Track and manage the execution of strategic projects to ensure timely delivery

  • Provide actionable, data-driven insights to support leadership decisions

  • Coordinate planning cycles, including budgeting and resource allocation

  • Identify and evaluate potential areas for business growth and expansion

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess strategy effectiveness

  • Communicate strategic priorities and outcomes to relevant internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications and Experience

  • BA or MA in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields

  • Minimum of 8 years (with MA) or 6 years (with BA) of experience in strategic planning or business development

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations

  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives

  • Familiarity with performance measurement and analytics tools is an asset
