Position Summary
Amaga PLC is seeking a Strategy and Planning Manager to drive the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business strategy, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. This role works closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize strategic objectives, and ensure their successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the formulation and execution of strategic plans aligned with the company’s goals

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to guide strategic decisions

Collaborate with management to define key initiatives and set measurable objectives

Prepare business plans, performance dashboards, and progress reports for senior leadership

Track and manage the execution of strategic projects to ensure timely delivery
-
Provide actionable, data-driven insights to support leadership decisions
-
Coordinate planning cycles, including budgeting and resource allocation
-
Identify and evaluate potential areas for business growth and expansion

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess strategy effectiveness

Communicate strategic priorities and outcomes to relevant internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience

BA or MA in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields

Minimum of 8 years (with MA) or 6 years (with BA) of experience in strategic planning or business development

Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations
-
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives
-
Familiarity with performance measurement and analytics tools is an asset
