We are currently hiring for the position of Branch Manager “D” for our Addis Ababa branches within the CN & West Regional Operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations, ensuring sustainable portfolio growth and high-quality loan performance.

• Oversee loan processing, including verification of clients' existence and evaluation of creditworthiness.

• Chair the Branch Credit Committee (BCC) and make informed decisions on loan approvals or rejections.

• Ensure accurate management of savings deposits and withdrawals per internal policies.

• Supervise branch staff to ensure efficient, customer-focused service delivery.

• Plan and oversee branch personnel capacity, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and staff development.

• Monitor and manage branch resources efficiently, including vehicles and generators.

• Promote staff engagement and identify training needs to strengthen team capabilities.

• Enforce compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and control procedures.

• Maintain accurate branch records and participate in institutional performance reviews and meetings.

• Create and adjust the branch’s annual business plan and operational targets.

• Lead marketing and promotional efforts to grow loan and savings portfolios within the local community.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Banking, Marketing, Agricultural Economics, or related fields.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience for degree holders

  • Minimum 6 years of experience for diploma holders

• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities

• Strong team management, motivational, and communication skills

• High level of integrity and professional responsibility

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications

• Basic financial planning and accounting knowledge

• Experience in training, mentoring, and coaching staff

• Valid motor bicycle driving license required
