Job Summary

Dashen Bank is looking for a Cash Service Attendant to join our Gambela Branch. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, verifying currency, ensuring security compliance, and assisting in daily banking operations. You will also provide essential support in maintaining accurate records and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

 Receive and verify cash from the Head against signature on the cash book.
 Sort, count, and manage cash transactions efficiently.
 Ensure accurate documentation and sign off on tickets and summary sheets.
 Follow best practices in currency security and fraud prevention.
 Maintain compliance with banking regulations and operational guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Diploma (10+3/Level IV) in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant banking or financial experience.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of currency processing & security features
Understanding of anti-counterfeiting measures
 Proficiency in cash management and stock control
 Ability to handle banking transactions with accuracy
 Organizational & administrative skills
