About the Job

Zemen Bank is looking for a Customer Service Officer I to join its team at the Shashemene Banking Center. In this role, you will serve customers by handling cash transactions, promoting banking products, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your main goal will be to provide excellent service while following the bank’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions including receiving and paying cash

• Promote and sell the bank’s products and services to existing and new customers

• Open new accounts and manage existing customer accounts

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

• Ensure all customer interactions are handled with care, professionalism, and in line with bank rules

• Support customer needs and resolve issues in a timely manner

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or a related field

Work Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant banking experience

Required Skills

• Strong customer relationship management (CRM) skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

• Friendly and professional attitude towards customers

• Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
