Job Summary

Dashen Bank is looking for an experienced District Credit Analyst to join its Dire Dawa District Office. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit analysis and appraisal, identifying credit risk factors, and ensuring all assessments comply with the bank's internal policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Management, Banking, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least five (5) years of experience working as a Loan Officer in the banking industry.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of loan loss provisioning and related regulatory policies.

• Expertise in loan workout and recovery processes.

• Strong understanding of commercial lending principles and procedures.

• Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing financial statements.

• Experience with credit scoring systems and financial services products.

• Familiarity with banking laws, regulations, and market dynamics.

• Understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic trends in the financial sector.
