 Job Summary

The District Operation Audit Team Leader is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting audit assignments while ensuring key risks (including fraud risks) are identified and properly managed. The role involves leading audit teams, ensuring compliance with internal audit standards, and preparing high-quality audit reports for management review.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Banking, Finance, or related fields.

·         Professional certifications (CIA, CRMA, ACCA) are an added advantage.

Experience:

·         Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

Technical Competencies:
✅ Deep knowledge of banking operations, risk-based auditing, and operational audit.
✅ Familiarity with Internal Audit (IIA) standards and compliance.
✅ Strong understanding of governance, risk, fraud detection, and financial regulations.
✅ Proficiency in quality management and information systems control frameworks.
