About the Role
American College of Technology (ACT) is looking for a Market Linkage Project Specialist to lead and coordinate B2B market linkage activities under the SEED (Sustainable Employment through Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development) project. The role focuses on expanding market access for Ethiopian enterprises both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies that link enterprises to business-to-business (B2B) markets.

Conduct market research to identify local and international buyers, suppliers, and investors.

Organize B2B meetings, trade fairs, and networking events.

Support enterprises in using online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.

Guide enterprises through export logistics, compliance, and trade procedures.

Build partnerships with government agencies, trade associations, and private sector actors.

Track and report progress and outcomes related to market linkages.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years experience in market linkage, business development, or trade facilitation.

Proven success in connecting businesses to local and international markets.

Knowledge of Ethiopian and global trade regulations, export logistics, and digital marketplaces.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
Preferred Skills

Experience working with donor-funded projects or enterprise development programs.

Understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.

Ability to train enterprises on market readiness.

Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
