Position Overview
American College of Technology (ACT) is looking for a skilled Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to lead the design, coordination, and implementation of M&E systems across its development programs. This role is essential in tracking program impact, ensuring data quality, and driving informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Design and refine M&E frameworks, indicators, and data collection methodologies.

Oversee implementation of M&E plans and ensure proper data management across programs.

Lead baseline, midline, and endline evaluations.

Analyze data (quantitative and qualitative) and generate comprehensive reports for internal and donor use.

Train and support staff on M&E tools and best practices.

Facilitate learning and reflection sessions to improve program quality.

Ensure compliance with donor and international M&E standards.
Qualifications and Experience

Master’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in M&E, with at least 2 years in a senior or specialist role.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement M&E systems for development or humanitarian projects.

Strong skills in data analysis using tools like SPSS, STATA, Power BI, or R.

Experience with digital data collection platforms (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, CommCare, SurveyCTO).

Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience in preparing high-quality reports.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in sectors such as education, health, agriculture, governance, or humanitarian aid.

Familiarity with donor frameworks such as Mastercard Foundation, World Bank, or UN agencies.

Knowledge of training and staff capacity development in M&E.
