Job Summary

Zemen Bank is seeking a qualified and experienced Principal Internal Auditor responsible for evaluating the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the bank’s internal control, risk management, and governance systems. The role involves implementing a risk-based audit plan and ensuring strong operational and financial integrity across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute audit engagement plans

• Evaluate internal controls and governance systems, and recommend improvements

• Supervise audit assignments covering all key operational areas

• Coordinate audits on unresolved or pending cases and collect auditee responses

• Ensure quality assurance of audit and inspection reports

• Safeguard the bank’s assets by identifying and addressing weaknesses in processes and controls

About You

Education:

• Bachelor’s/B.Sc. degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Finance and Auditing, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience

• At least 1 year at a Senior Officer level in a professional or expert role

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Technical writing and reporting proficiency

• Excellent auditing and internal control knowledge

• Understanding of risk management principles
