The Schwarzman Scholars Programme at Tsinghua University is a prestigious, fully funded graduate scholarship designed to shape future global leaders. Each year, the program selects 200 outstanding students from around the world to complete a one-year Master’s degree focused on leadership, global affairs, and international cooperation.

Scholarship Financial Coverage

The Schwarzman Scholars Programme provides full financial support, including:

  • Full tuition fees

  • On-campus accommodation and meals

  • Round-trip travel to and from China

  • In-country study tour

  • Course materials and health insurance

  • Annual stipend of $4,000 for personal expenses

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Schwarzman Scholars Programme, candidates must:

  • Be between 18 and 28 years old by August 1, 2025

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in any field (or be on track to complete it before enrollment)

  • Be fluent in English

  • Demonstrate leadership potential and a strong academic background

  • International and Chinese students are both eligible

Note: If you studied at an institution where English was the primary language of instruction, you may submit an official letter from your university as proof. No IELTS or TOEFL is required in this case.
