Job Overview: Freelance Video Editor

As a Freelance Video Editor at Ethio Spark, you’ll be crafting engaging and attention-grabbing videos that last under 60 seconds for platforms like YouTube Shorts and TikTok. Your role will require you to stay on top of the latest social media trends and be able to translate them into videos that leave a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Short-Form Videos: Produce high-quality video content for platforms such as YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
• Editing & Post-Production: Edit raw footage into engaging, polished videos that capture attention quickly.
• Storytelling: Use your creativity and knowledge of trends to tell compelling stories in under 60 seconds.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure video content aligns with brand goals and objectives.

About You: Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:

• Proven experience editing short-form videos (portfolio required).
• Familiarity with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut.

Skills:

• Excellent video editing skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of social media trends and audience engagement.
• Creative thinking with the ability to innovate and tell stories visually.

Compensation & Contract Details:

• Salary: 20,000 ETB (approx. 200 USD/month).
• Contract Type: Freelance.
