Job Summary

Bank of Abyssinia S.C. is looking for a Driver I to transport employees and goods while ensuring vehicle safety, proper maintenance, and professional driving conduct.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance

• Check oil, water, lights, tire pressure, and other essentials before starting work.

• Monitor and report vehicle repair or servicing needs.

• Perform minor fixes and immediately report major malfunctions.

• Track vehicle servicing schedules and ensure timely maintenance.

Transportation & Logistics

• Drive bank vehicles (heavy, medium, or light) for employee and goods transport.

• Ensure fuel, spare tires, and necessary tools are available.

• Purchase fuel and required items legally when needed during fieldwork.

Trip Logging & Documentation

• Record odometer readings, destinations, and travel details before and after trips.

• Renew vehicle documents (insurance, permits, etc.) as required.

Security & Conduct

• Ensure vehicle security when parked.

• Deliver assigned assets safely and confirm receipt with relevant parties.

• Wear the bank’s uniform neatly during work hours.

Additional Duties

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

Education

• 10th/12th Grade completion.

• Valid Public I or Third-Level Driving License.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.

• Experience in the banking industry is a plus.
