Position: Business Intelligence & Analytics Specialist

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Role Purpose

The Business Intelligence & Analytics Specialist will be responsible for:

• Delivering BI & analytics solutions for business units to aid in decision-making.
• Automating reporting processes and ensuring data accuracy.
• Developing dashboards and analytics tools for various business needs.
• Managing large datasets for customer insights and operational improvements.
• Tracking and analyzing key business programs to optimize performance.
• Ensuring compliance with data governance standards.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business analytics, trend analysis, and commercial insights.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in BI & analytics tools such as Oracle OBIEE, Tableau, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, or Quick View.
• Experience in ETL development, data mart setup, and reporting dashboard design.
• Hands-on experience in statistical modeling (regression, clustering, decision trees, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong communication & presentation skills.
• Experience in telecom, financial services, or similar industries is advantageous.
