Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts and Reconciliation Officer to join our finance team. The role involves handling financial reconciliations, managing key accounting functions, and supporting the accuracy and integrity of the bank's financial data. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in banking and accounting, with excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and review financial reports related to reconciliations and balances.

  • Ensure accurate posting of financial transactions across the bank’s systems.

  • Work with other departments to identify and resolve reconciliation issues.

  • Support audits by providing required reports and documentation.

  • Participate in the implementation of financial control improvements.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

  • Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • MA/BA degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, or related business fields.

  • 3 years of banking experience for Master’s degree holders or 5 years for Bachelor’s degree holders.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a finance-related role, preferably as a finance officer.

Required Skills

  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in accounting

  • Solid understanding of financial systems and reconciliation procedures
