Job Summary:
Dashen Bank is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee and lead its Gewane Branch. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, lead, and control all branch activities while ensuring compliance with the Bank’s operating procedures, regulatory directives, and country laws. This role involves coordinating sales and business development efforts, driving operational excellence, and maintaining strong community and business relationships to promote the Bank's services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and control all activities of the branch in alignment with the Bank’s operational standards.
  • Coordinate sales and business development initiatives to meet branch targets.
  • Drive customer service excellence and operational efficiency within the branch.
  • Prepare and manage the branch’s annual budget, work plan, and progress reports.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with the local business community to promote the Bank’s offerings.

Qualifications and Experience:

Academic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of general financial products and services.
  • Proficiency in modern service delivery practices for medium to large banks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of banking policies, processes, and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and core banking systems.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement initiatives.
