Summary:
Bank of Abyssinia is hiring a Company Driver to support day-to-day operations by safely transporting employees, materials, and documents. The role requires a reliable and disciplined professional with a valid driving license, a strong sense of responsibility, and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance:

• Perform daily checks on oil, water, lights, tires, and other essentials

• Identify minor faults and report major mechanical issues immediately

• Maintain records of vehicle service schedules and ensure timely maintenance

• Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition

Transportation and Logistics:

• Drive bank vehicles of varying types (light, medium, or heavy) for staff or goods transportation

• Ensure the vehicle is stocked with necessary tools, fuel, and spare tires

• Make lawful purchases of fuel and other essentials during field assignments

Trip Logging and Documentation:

• Record travel information, odometer readings, and destinations before and after each trip

• Ensure timely renewal of vehicle-related documents including insurance and permits

Security and Professional Conduct:

• Safeguard the vehicle when not in use

• Deliver materials or assets responsibly and obtain delivery confirmations

• Present a professional image by wearing the designated bank uniform while on duty

Additional Duties:

• Perform other transport-related or administrative tasks as instructed by management

Job Requirements

Education:

• Completion of 10th or 12th grade

• Valid Public I or Third-Level Driver’s License

Experience:

• At least 2 years of professional driving experience

• Prior experience in a banking or corporate setting is advantageous
