Position Overview

VisionFund is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Intermediate Customer Service Officer. This role focuses on customer engagement, loan processing, and portfolio quality management.


Key Responsibilities

Promotion & Marketing

  • Conduct market research and surveys

  • Attract new loan clients and conduct active marketing campaigns

  • Orient prospective clients about VisionFund products

  • Assist in annual business planning and budget preparation

  • Facilitate focus group discussions (FGDs) with clients

Loan & Savings Management

  • Process loan applications and conduct credit appraisals

  • Inspect collateral and present applications to the branch credit committee

  • Schedule loan disbursement and collect repayments

  • Handover collected cash daily to teller/cashier

  • Recommend repeat loans based on client performance

  • Submit regular performance and statistical reports

  • Serve on loan committees

Portfolio Quality Management

  • Monitor loan repayment and ensure zero tolerance to arrears

  • Negotiate and follow up with clients in arrears

  • Conduct site visits and build strong client relationships

  • Support colleagues during delinquency situations

Other Duties

  • Serve as alternate for absent Customer Service Officers

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned


About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • College Diploma or BA Degree in Rural Development, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Agriculture, or related fields

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in microfinance institutions or similar organizations
